Interviewed Jan 2010 in Louisville, KY (took a day)
The interview was fairly basic. There were a lot of fit questions posed and no technical. After all, this was the first phone interview. The interviewer genuinely seemed interested in my answers and asked me to specifically elaborate on everything. Examples of questions I remember are: What was your favorite class? Least favorite? Strengths? Weaknesses? Accomplishments?
Basically, they were genuinely trying to gauge whether I was a good fit for the internship program. Unfortunately, it was determined that I was not. Still, I learned a lot from the interview and it was a good experience.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Louisville, KY (took a day)
I had on-site interview at their Louisville office. There were 6 interviews (5 technical, 1 HR). All of them 1:1. People were all very nice and knowledgeable about their product and process.
As far as interview questions, everyone asked more less the same behavioral questions. I should have prepared for these predictable questions.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Louisville, KY (took 3 weeks)
I applied to various jobs within GE on their website, I don't think that I had originally applied to this job, but was contacted within a week of my other application. The person who contacted me set up a phone interview for the next day. That interview went well. I was then called about 6 days later and had a 2nd "impromptu" phone interview that had not been scheduled. I few days later I was contacted again and asked if I would like to fly to Louisville to interview. Of course I said yes. I was flown in and completed 4 interviews with 5 people from 11:30am - 5:00pm. There were also 4 other people interviewing for the same position that day so we rotated through the interviewers.
Everyone that I interviewed with was extremely friendly, kind and sincerely seemed interested in me, my experiences, qualifications and my reasonings for wanting to work for GE. I was very comfortable and they also held a laid back luncheon for us where we were able to ask questions from those who were currently or had gone with the same position/training program.
I enjoyed my time there and am hoping for the best, I feel that I was very qualified for the position. I have not received any word back yet, but it has only been 6 days since I interviewed and I was told that there were two more interviews to be completed and that the HR manager would be traveling this week.
