Interviewed May 2011 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took 5 months)
GE thinks it's the greatest company on earth. So you will be dealing with people with huge egos.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Family comes before work. In GE's world and culture, working for them is priority and who cares if your wife is pregnant and depressed?
Other Details

Interviewed Jan 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 2 months)
They will get back to you ONLY if they are interested. They have so many applicants (got this from one of the external recruiters who I had applied through previously) and they can really pick and choose. Very professional but DON'T expect to be treated as though they need you! Because they don't!
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
Don't negotiate with them. They will NOT make a better offer and also you will lose money by just waiting. Also had one friend who waited for an offer and they withdrew their offer. It is GE - probably the best name in the world from a work experience point.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.
