Interviewed Apr 2012 in Virginia Beach, VA (took 3 weeks)
First they contact you to set up a phone interview where they ask basic questions, such as your previous work experience. They also ask "tell me about a time when..." questions which usually focus on you solving a difficult problem or a time you gave great customer service.
If you pass the phone interview, then they ask you to come in for testing. First you take a multitasking test on a computer, which is set up to be as if you are dealing with multiple customers on the phone and email and you have to enter as much information as you can into their fake system. You also take 2 typing tests.
From there I was taken to another room where I had to take another test on a computer. They were all math and logic type questions focusing on problems you may have to work out as a supervisor like scheduling or work allocation.
After all the computer testing was done they sent me home so they could reschedule me for to come in for a mock phone call test, job shadow and managers interview. The mock phone call test was the worst part. You are given 20 minutes to read a packet about a fake company and read all their procedures and services they offer. Then the tester calls you on the phone pretending to be a customer and you have to deal with them as outlined in the packet. Then you have 2 minutes to write down notes and then they call you back to talk about each one on how you think you did. You do this 3 times. 20 minutes is not a lot of time to learn it all and of course they throw a curve ball in every single one to trip you up.
Then I got to sit down and listen in on an agent taking phone calls in their call center for 45 minutes to get an idea of what its like to work in the department I was applying for.
Finally, I had a group interview with 3 other managers where they asked me interview questions from a packet asking about my leadership skills and work experience and that lasted for about 20 minutes or so.
2 days later, I get a generic email saying "Sorry we are not offering you a position" and that was it. It was the longest and most complicated interview process I have gone through and it was very frustrating to make it to the end only to be turned down and I have no idea why.

Interviewed Apr 2012 in Virginia Beach, VA (took 2 weeks)
I had a phone interview and did well. She then emailed me back to setup a time to meet in person for some in office testing. About two weeks later I went in for this testing. It consisted of a mutli-tasking and typing test of which I passed both. Then I proceeded to take a decision making skills test, a personality test, and some role-playing. After all of these were complete the HR person was talking to me about next steps and sounded extremely positive. Unfortunately a week and a half later I got a rejection email. I thought the process was just taking longer due to the department they were looking to put me in was slower to respond she said. Unfortunately that was not the case here.

Interviewed Feb 2012 (took a day)
Applied, got a call to set up an interview... It was horrible. There weren't very many leadership questiuons and the job was more of a telemarketer job than anything.

Interviewed Feb 2012 (took 2 days)
I went to a career fair on campus, and went to the GEICO table. I introduced myself and asked about the formal interview process, to which they replied that it was all online. However, after about 10 minutes of talking to them about my credentials, my aspirations, and general information about jobs available I was asked if I could come to an on-campus interview the next day. The Interview was pretty straightforward, they asked about a time I had to demonstrate Leadership and a time about when I experienced hardship, and all that. However, it was when I was asked about salary is when I messed up by being the first to give a number. I'm guessing that the amount I asked for was unrealistic, because the rest of the Interview went pretty well (at least it seemed that way).

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Dallas, TX (took 3 weeks)
I had handed in a resume to GEICO at a career fair. A few weeks later I got a response via email to set up a interview over the phone. The interview went smoothly but their computer systems were down so the interviewer had to write it all down by hand and as such seemed to be a bit more aggressive as the interview progressed. After a few weeks I got a call from the Dallas office to attend an interview. This was a structured one on one interview.
After a few day I got an offer but the spot was for the sales side of GEICO which I am not interested in so I declined the offer.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Fredericksburg, VA (took 2 weeks)
It started out with about an hour long phone interview, after which I was invited to the next stage and go to the office for testing and more interviewing. When I went for testing, it took about 4 hours and consisted of a multi-tasking ability test, a 1-1 interview, a decision making test, a personality test, and finally a role playing test. I was way over prepared. The tests were so easy anyone who graduated from high school should be able to pass them.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
None of the testing or in person interview was what I expected. I went into the interview with very high expectations for the job, and was prepared for anything they threw at me. However, none of the testing or interview questions asked me ANYTHING to do with my ability to be a manager/supervisor or a strong leader. It really seemed like the only thing they were interested in was my ability to work in a call center. I felt like if I took the job, I would not learn a single thing that would be beneficial to my career. The only thing I would learn from it was that I could work in a call center. If I wanted to work in a call center, I wouldn't have paid for my college degree in Business Management.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Tucson, AZ (took 3 weeks)
For the salary, the interview process is a little ridiculous. First had a one on one interview at my university. Got a call after about 5 days saying they liked me I was to move on to the next stage. The next stage consisted of a computer simulated multi-tasking test, a typing test. Then if you pass that portion you move on to a 100+ question personality test and then a reading comprehension/IQ test. After that you are given 30 minutes to read over some sheets of paper about a fake company and then the interviewer calls you from another room to do 3 different customer service role plays over the phone. That all took about 4 hours. A few days later I was called and notified I had passed that portion of the interview and they wanted me to come in for another 4 hours to follow different people around the office.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
I declined as this was the interview process of way to involved for 38k/year, and I had other options that were a better fit for me.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Virginia Beach, VA (took 1+ week)
I submitted my application and about a week later I was contacted by the college recruiter to submit my cover letter and transcripts. I submitted the required paperwork and about an hour later I was contacted to set up a phone interview. I requested that the phone interview take place two days later to fit my schedule at the time. The phone interview was what I thought a pretty standard interview. The recruiter seemed very nice. I thought I really did very well in the phone interview. I was told I would be contacted by the lead auto damage supervisor to discuss the position further, but he was on vacation due to the Labor Day holiday weekend. I was told I would be contacted if I was selected or not selected. Before getting off the phone with the college recruiter I felt confident I would move forward in the process. She made it seem like I would get a call the next week from the auto damage supervisor. Instead I received an email stating: Your application and the information you've provided have been carefully considered. Unfortunately, you have not been selected for: Supervisor Leadership Program. No reason as to why, just a standard you did not get the position email.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Woodbury, NY (took 4 weeks)
The entire process was lame. Recruiters wasted my time and weren't straightforward. They kept rescheduling my interview. Very disorganized and very selfish. They want you to drop everything and meet at there schedule. I'm glad I had an opportunity to notice that this isn't the right place for me.
