I applied through other source and the process took a day - interviewed at GVK Industries in October 2010.

Interview Details – Got to know about the opening through an Advertisement in a national daily and applied for the same.
Was given a call for written test and interview at company's corporate office.

I applied online and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at GVK Industries in September 2010.

Interview Details – Communication was made via email initially for the written test. Written test comprised of technical questions-simple questions were asked.
Candidates who qualified the cut off in the written were called for the next round-interview. Interview was light and easy. The technical interview was mainly of review and discussion of the written paper with the candidate and a few basic easy technical questions. The HR interview was also very basic informing the job profile of the candidate and the company profile.
