I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Galleria Marketing (Houston, TX) in March 2011.
Quick response after I applied on monster. The staff were very friendly and upbeat. The interview was short and simple, basically what everyone has said below.

I thought it was great although I am a little worried about compensation.

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Galleria Marketing (Houston, TX) in November 2008.
Galleria Marketing company is very interesting. I posted my resume on career builder and received a phone call for an interview the next day. Although the interview was a little cheesy, it was humorous and had a comical vibe. The employees were over the top. If you want the job I would advise you to be overly enthused about life and illustrate a constant grin.

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Galleria Marketing in August 2010.
Galleria Marketing emailed me as soon as I posted a resume for their business. I think they get back with everyone that applies to come in for an interview. They do have high turnover and because of this are interviewing often. My experience interviewing here was a positive one. Several of the girls were very nice and welcoming, yet professional. I could be myself during the interviews. The questions provided on other posts were exactly the ones I was asked as well (ex: hobbies, rank the 4 in order of importance, are you a desk person or an on the go person, how would you respond when someone says no... etc). prepare your answers. I was extremely hesitant to even go to the on-the-job interview part because I knew the job was commission only and didn't want to do that! I didn't want to judge the business before I tried it though so I went and it was definitely an intense day. It takes a very self motivated person to do this job! It is 100% business to business sales and it takes confidence. All of these things of course you get trained in. My corporate trainer was a sweetheart, and very good at his job. I think that the people who stay with it can really benefit from working here. The corporate culture is very fun, relaxed, yet professional. The huge pro is that there is a huge opportunity to move up quickly in this company.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Galleria Marketing in February 2010.
I was called in for an interview after I had submitted my resume on Monster for college students. They were very polite and understood that being a college student that having experience was not something I had. When I arrived to the office thats located in the galleria area and I must say it was a very nice office. I was in the lobby area for about 15 minutes. There a few other interviews that walked in while I was waiting. The receptionist was such a great person and very upbeat which made the environment very comfortable for me to relax and be confident. The person who conducted my interview was the assistant director and she was very easy to talk to and answered all the questions. I was called back for a second interview and I was able to see what the company really did and my interviewer was very easy going and I had a great time seeing what an entry level work day would be. Once we came back to the office that day I was offered the position and I accepted it. Great company and great people! They really want their employees to succeed.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Galleria Marketing in January 2010.
They called me for an interview the day after I sent my resume. So thanks for the promptness. Finding the building was pretty simple... right off of the 610 Loop over by the Galleria area. I came in for the interview and the lady up front was playing oldies music.. pleasurable. I waited about 35 minutes for my interview because there were 3 other people in front of me; although I did show up 20 minutes early to my interview. I remember we talked about the Hurricane in Haiti and where we've travelled... simple conversations. I was called in for my interview and the lady who interviewed me (not saying names) was really perky and funny. I'm not sure if I have ever laughed so much in an interview. I did come back for the 2nd interview in which there were 4 other people waiting with me. We waited about 35 minutes before our 2nd interview started after it's scheduled time of 9:15am. I went through the 2nd interview... everything went great, my interviewer was very informative and answered all my questions. At the end of the day once we got back to the office I did hear they hired one of the other 4 applicants. I accepted the position initially but called back 2 days before my start day to decline because I got a call back with a job offer from Merrill Lynch which is ultimately what I wanted to do. I did got to school and graduated with my MBA in Finance. So if Merrill Lynch would not have hired me, I probably would have started with Galleria Marketing.

Received job offer from Merrill Lynch.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Galleria Marketing in August 2009.
I had a lot of fun in my interview at Galleria Marketing. The girl upfront answering the phones was very perky and played upbeat music. The manager had a lot of energy and described the company and their marketing strategies very thoroughly. I was very excited to get the call back for the second interview. The girl that interviewed me said she was one of the top 10 reps across all North America. She closed a few accounts and I believe that she made around $320.00 just that day. I felt the second interview was a great depiction of their marketing strategies. I was extended an offer and I start in 2 weeks -- very ecstatic
