Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 1 week)
Basically walked in with a resume and application and was interviewed on the spot. Told me some small facts about the company and some secrets as well as asked me a few memory based questions.
I was invited to a group interview then afterwards I was called for a seasonal job offer. I accepted it and thats how I got the job

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 2 days)
I went with the manager to a closed room which served as a second storage room. There, we discussed my interest in video games, his interests, what they were looking for in an employee and what I could offer. He had me do a roleplaying skit of selling the Power Up Card, which had goals of accomplishing. While I was nervous with the roleplaying act, the manager thought I had potential and was hired for a temporary seasonal job. For the time I had it, I did enjoy the job and I would go as far to say the interview was actually fun.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Spokane Valley, WA (took 1 week)
I turned in my application to the store, I prefer to turn it into the store rather then do it online. Then I called to check up on my application about 3 to 4 days later they said I need to call the hiring manager and he wasn't there till tomorrow. I called back got the hiring manager for the wrong store so he gave me the name and number for the store I was applying for. Finally about a week after I turned in my application I got a hold of the manager I needed to talk to and he gave me an interview. The interview pretty much consisted of him telling me about the polices and the way things worked around the store. At the end of the interview he told me that they probably wont hire me because they preferred to hire people who are 18 and over.

Interviewed Jul 2009 in Grand Prairie, TX (took 2 weeks)
I walked in and they checked my online application. After that I basically just got interviewed by the manager. Once the interview was over he told me he would review my application and call me.

Interviewed Sep 2009 (took 4+ weeks)
Applied for a seasonal position. Said if he liked me enough (if I got hired), he would ask me to stay for a permanent position. The interview lasted about an hour. Asked typical questions: Why GameStop? Can you handle the holiday stress? How long have you been interested in games? etc.
He was really friendly, and he made jokes to ease the tension (I was only 16 and it was my first job interview ever). He kept saying how stressful the holiday season was and asking if I could handle it. He did most of the talking.
I didn't get the job because he thought it would be too stressful for a first job. I think if I had been more confident, I would have gotten it. Oh well.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Houston, TX (took a day)
The interview was simple, held in the back room of the overly large store that I was interviewing for. Most of the questions where you know the basics 'why do you want to work there' and other such things. The manager was really nice and forward about what he expected out of his employees. Though he did go so far as to warn me about one of the more strange employees that he had working for him, which at the time I thought he was kidding...but I learned later after accepting the job that this person was annoying as sin.

Interviewed May 2010 in Las Vegas, NV (took 1 week)
I turned in about 7 applications to different locations on a day that I was told managers would be working. Some of the managers were very rude, pretty much acting like they didn't have the time of day and were far more superior than you. The manager at one location though was very nice, but only had an offer for a once every two week shift. Even though it would mean I would have priority for the holiday hours increase, I needed a job that was more substantial.
