I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at GardaWorld (Orlando, FL) in April 2010.
I was interviewed by a recruiter who was very professional, He called me a week later and asked me to come in for an interview with the Management staff. I arrived and interviewed by two people, one manager couldn't speak English, the other looked like an inmate covered in tattoos. I was called back to fill out the hired paperwork in the supervisors office where a female assistant and a supervisor were, as I filled out the paperwork the supervisor was grabbing the female's breasts and butt. I continued to fill out the paperwork and the female apologized. I the turned all the paperwork in and was sent to a drug test, and a polygraph.
- No difficult questions, the recruiter was straight forward about the expectations etc... Answer Question
Salary is set, there is no negotiation.

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at GardaWorld (Baltimore, MD) in March 2010.
Process takes about a month from applying to start working. Criminal background check is conducted after interview. Your fingerprints are taken after your criminal history is clear. The interview itself is straightforward. Nothing difficult. You cannot have any points on your driving record and must maintain a clean record during employment. You must also provide the driving record at your expense.
The starting pay is not negotiable. It starts at 12.25/hr.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GardaWorld in July 2011.
They call you, bring you in, have you fill out alot of paperwork and send you on your way. When they call you back in; have you do mor paperwork, throw you their uniform and put you on an armored truck with millions with no training or knowledge of the policies or rules!
Reasons for Declining
The recruiter was biased towards marines. Made me feel belittled and insulted.

Received a phone call and asked to come in for an interview. Showed up on interview date and interviewed. All went well and two days later I was offered the job. Overall the interview process was great.

There was no real diffcult questions/ but you have to take a lie dector test. You also need a D.O.T. phys and have to pass it also. Depending on your blood pressure, if you have Sugar and are taking shots you my not pass. They do a check on your Finances if you have bad credit you will not be hired.
