Garden City Group Interview Questions & Reviews

On the first interview I met with three people, including the head of the group in which I was to work. This person told me I would be perfect for the position he was planning (hence the reason a generic title is listed), and that he would love for me to meet with his boss. Questions ranged from asking me about my job and specific duties to general questions about being confronted with certain scenarios. About a week later I received a call from the recruiter telling me that while the head of the group really liked me, they could not budget for the position at that time. About two months later, I received a call and an e-mail from the recruiter saying, '(name omitted) wants you on his team' and wants you to come in to meet with him and his boss. I arrange a second interview, but the interview with him and his boss never took place. Instead, four people who would have been my colleagues (not my bosses) come to meet with me, asking repetitive questions. I was extremely disappointed by this turn of events. That day, I told the recruiter this and he also seemed very surprised. About two weeks later I received the call that I was not a fit for the company. Don't know if it was anything I said or did...I answered all the questions asked of me.
