Met them at a University career fair and then applied online. They called me after a month or so to schedule an interview on-site. They arranged transport and a place to stay for me.
You go in and get your visitor's security pass for the day, get a tour of the shipyard and then they give you a schedule telling you how many departments you'll interview with. Those are one-on-one interviews and you also eat lunch with an employee in the office. The one-on-one interview is them going over some history of GDEB and of their submarines, then of the work in the office. Then they go over your resume and ask pretty simple questions such as explain what you did at xxx job or what you did on xxx project.

Applied online, got a phone call 5 months later. Got flown out for an interview - flight, hotel, rental car paid for by company. Arrived at 7:30am, HR meeting with other candidates (get itinerary, check passport, copy transcripts), took tour of the shipyard, went for interview with the department you'll most likely be working with (in New London - get shuttled over there), lunch with a member of the same department, return to Groton for exit interview with HR. The people there were really nice. The New London office is much nicer, seemed like a nice place to work.

Applied online in late January. Received a call to fly out to Groton for an interview. Travel and hotel was arranged and paid for by EB.
There were 2 interviews with 2 different departments, the questions were mostly about my background and resume. After the interviews they give you a free lunch and you go back to HR to fill out a review of their interview process

The hiring process takes forever. I applied then 3 months went by and got a phone call to come in for an interview. Then we made the interview for another month later. I went in for interview at the end of June and got offer at the beginning of September. No technical questions asked during interview, all are general interview questions. Interviewers were very nice, will take you on tour of facility.

Unconventional group interview, more of a get to know you type interview. Really interested in senior design project and relevant previous work experience. Laid back interview and down to earth supervisors.

Applied online and received a call about an interview about 10 months later to come for an interview. For the interview, met with a HR representative and went over briefly about working at EB. Had fingerprints taken and went on tour of the site with two engineers. Then had an interview with one of the engineers, talked about my resume and the position. Was able to ask questions about the position. Then another engineer took me to lunch on site. Afterward met with HR to go over all my information.

I have had alot of interview with big companies and this was the easiest interview ! They barely even asked any questions and the one that were asked were simple things that regular people may ask like "Tell me about yourself" or "What interests you about this company"
