Interviewed Feb 2011 (took a day)
Unconventional group interview, more of a get to know you type interview. Really interested in senior design project and relevant previous work experience. Laid back interview and down to earth supervisors.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Groton, CT (took a day)
I personally had two interviews. One with four managers representing different groups and the other with only two mangers. The first described what they do and then asked me some questions. They were all very nice and were really looking to get to know the people they were interviewing and had different aspects of their every day work that they wanted to make sure I was comfortable with if I were to be working with them (design, presentations, engineering knowledge, etc..).

Interviewed Dec 2010 (took a day)
Applied online and received a call about an interview about 10 months later to come for an interview. For the interview, met with a HR representative and went over briefly about working at EB. Had fingerprints taken and went on tour of the site with two engineers. Then had an interview with one of the engineers, talked about my resume and the position. Was able to ask questions about the position. Then another engineer took me to lunch on site. Afterward met with HR to go over all my information.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Groton, CT (took a day)
They called me to set up an interview 5 months after I had applied. I went to the interview about a week later. It starts by them taking your cell phone so you can't take pictures. Then you get your fingerprints taken for a background check. This is followed by a meeting where they copy your birth certificates to verify you are a citizen of the U.S.
You go back and one of their employees gives you a tour of the facilities. You don't get to see much because security is tight. I then had my first interview with one department followed by another interview for another department. Then they give you a free lunch. Finally you are asked a few simple questions by HR that don't have any bearing on you getting the job and you go home.
My interviews were very cookie cutter. I interviewed with the engineering heads of each department. Basically the trick is just try to make them like you and make it seem like you're a good candidate. You should know about submarines. You should read the information on the GDEB website. You might want to brush up a little on statics.
Just realize that they need a lot of new hires right now. Don't slack off on your interview prep but don't be too nervous about it either.

Negotiation Details
There is no negotiation. Realize that once you accept the offer you must qualify for an interim clearance. This means your SF86 has to be squeaky clean or you may get denied the interim even if you potentially could qualify for secret clearance.
They are very slow during this hiring phase after accepting the offer. Expect to accept the offer and then find out about your clearance about a month later.
Other Details
I got the interview through a College or University and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Jul 2008 (took a day)
Initial contact was by phone, Followed with a resume. They then said to come and do an interview with them and they would put us up a couple of nights so that we could check out the housing and the layout of the area from a logistics standpoint (access to medical facilities, dentists, grocery stores)
