Very Easy Interview
I applied in-person and the process took 4 weeks - interviewed at Gentiva in August 2013.
Interview Details – I was called a couple of times. I will say they were persistent. Sometimes that can be a good thing and that's probably why I ended up going in for the first interview. The manager was friendly. One of the other girls who worked in the office sat it with the interview. I'm not sure why she was there and not one of the other Administrative Specialist who actually do the job I was being interviewed for.
Interview Question – They didn't really ask me any technical questions. It was just questions about what I was familiar with on the computer and what my plans were for the future. Nothing was unexpected. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I was pretty new to the workforce at that time. I didn't really know about negotiating offers. I accepted and was happy to have the job.

He set up face to face with branch director that same week, next step was interview with area sales manager for the following week, then phone interview with Regional Sales Manager and he requested the personality test to be completed, then next week was final face to face interview with him.
Interview Question – Pretty straightforward, used the STAR interview techniques Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Went back and forth, eventually they came up 2k/year to what I needed.
Interviewed at Gentiva
Interview Details – Need to apply on line then a recruiter will call you and send an application to you via email. After that then an interview is set up with the manager. The interview is straight forward but the recruitment process is very disorganized
Interview Question – Personal questions about death and dying Answer Question
Very Easy Interview
I applied through a recruiter and interviewed at Gentiva.
Interview Details – I was not seeking a new job and was contacted directly by the Regional Sales Manager. I was happy in my current position, so I told her I was not interested, but I was willing to hear what they had to say. That being said, I slept on it and decided there was no point in interviewing since I was perfectly happy with my job. I called to cancel my interview and was basically begged to keep it, which ended up being the BIGGEST waste of my time!
Interview Question – Clearly they were fishing for someone who could take business away from their competitors. I was asked to provide them a list of my A,B and C leads..this was inappropriate, as this was my first face-to-face interview. Answer Question
Pros: The character and compassion of the (disposable) people who you work with. ...... And if you like being used, lied to and then unceremoniously discarded with one day's notice & a two week severance package, Gentiva is a wonderful place. – Full Review
