Interviewed May 2009 in Fort Lauderdale, FL (took 3 months)
They post and post on all the job sites that they are desperate for nurses. They asked you to fill out a tedious online application. Expect to have all your personal information available including drivers license number etc. It was really annoying. Personally I hate to give out all my information BEFORE I even speak with a person about the position but I kept calling and emailing and got no response. I thought maybe I just have to do the online application to get a response. Well I got a response...3 months later! Sorry but nurses are in high demand who needs this from Gentiva! After I spoke with the recruiter, I found out my efforts were a complete waste of time and they were only looking to pay 42K for an experienced full-time RN and their productivity expectations were 2-3 points MORE than any other local home health agency. They suck! Stay away!
