Interviewed Jun 2011 in Augusta, GA (took 2 months)
I applied for the job in January and received a request for a an interview in early April. I had a 1 on 1 interview in April with the head of the lab and was basically offered the position at that time, but he had to formally submit the request to HR. I didn't hear from HR until June, but at least the head of the lab kept me updated weekly with the progress.
