Interview Details – HR contacted me and was very professional. The initial phone interview was followed by a hiring manager phone interview. All interactions with recruiters and interviewers were a very pleasant experience. All were very professional, friendly and competent. The process is very slow though, so be patient. GP uses Behavioral Based interview techniques, so prepare for the tough questions on "how did you handle xxxx".

No Offer – Interviewed in Atlanta, GA Nov 2008 – Reviewed Mar 10, 2010
Interview Details – The initial communications with me by the company were efficient and professional. (I had been referred to the hiring department head by a former boss who knew that person.) After a converation on the phone, I was directed to apply on the company's website and then HR called me to schedule interviews. I met individually with eight people over a two-day period for behavioral-based interviews. Each discussion was approximately 30-45 minutes. The interviewees were very professional and pleasant, and I was impressed. I had a sense of collaborative spirit and that the company would be a positive environment in which to work. I would advise candidates to review their previous work history and be very prepared with information and answers to various behavioral-type (STAR) questions. (The company actually provides a website to help you understand what behavioral interviews are all about.)
Interview Question – Because I had prepared, I didn't experience a particularly difficult question. Each interviewer asked me to tell about a time when I was unsuccessful in accomplishing a task, what happened, how it turned out, etc. View Answer
