Interviewed Feb 2007 in Sterling Heights, MI (took 2 weeks)
This interview was at the start-up of the company, the first initial hire. I presented my peer reviews from Ford and a copy of a technical report I wrote at Ford, as an example of my work.
The primary concerns of the employer were if it was acceptable to spend an extended amount of time for training in germany. This was not a problem for me, because it was an item of interest that drew me to the company initially.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
Yes. I said a the interview 10K over my drop dead price. The company returned with 5K over. 2nd round of negotiations gave 6K over drop dead price, and said it was final offer. I accepted.
Therefore I was not able to negotiate extra vacation days or signing bonus.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Group/Panel Interview.
