They had me apply over the phone and answer questions, then I called back a week later and asked if they had gotten my application. They told me to come in and I had an interview with the HR manager and filled out paperwork to start work the next week.

The interview process is simple. I applied online-it helps to follow up with a manager at the store too. I was called and given a short phone interview that consisted of my experience, why I want to work for Giant Eagle, my availability, and then the manager reviewed the job description. I was then scheduled for an in person interview that consisted of situational questions...tell me about a time or situation when. I was offered a position, and had to pass a drug test which is oral and given at the store.

It was a great experience. I applied, received a call for an interview, and went there within a week to interview for a part time job. The process only took about an hour and a half, and I learned a lot about the company.

The interview process was normal and didn't differ from your typical job. I had to give a Backgrounf and drug test before initial 1:1 interview. I already had a position within the company so interviewing for the Manager position was somewhat simplified because they already knew me and my history.
