Couldn't you just sort the string such that all of its characters are in order (radix sort)? Then for all future strings, radix sort to see if they are anagrams because all anagrams should come out to be the same string after a sort. Then hash the original strings if they are a match.

Put the input word into a hash map, where the key-value pair is each letter that appears in the word and the character count. For each dictionary word, create a similar character count map and check that the contents of that map are identical to the input word's character count map. If so, add that dictionary word to a list.
The answer is linear on the size of the words and linear on the size of the dictionary.
