why recursion?
The following gives all possible pickings in list.
A=[1,2,3]; B= [2,3,4], C=[4,5]
list=[]
for a in A:
for b in B:
for c in C:
list.append([a,b,c])
The following gives all possible pickings in list.
A=[1,2,3]; B= [2,3,4], C=[4,5]
list=[]
for a in A:

In python its super easy
list1 = [1,2,3]
list2 = [2,3,4]
list3 = [4,5]
print [(x,y,z) for x in list1 for y in list2 for z in list3]
list1 = [1,2,3]
list2 = [2,3,4]
list3 = [4,5]
print [(x,y,z) for x in list1 for y in list2 for z in list3]
