Interview Details – Because I didn't have a finance background, I was asked about what the company does and what was proxy research. Because my answer wasn't sufficient, the interviewer elaborated on what exactly their company does. I was asked a lot on my background and my Chinese skills, because the job requires advanced understanding of both Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Then he gave me a test and told me to orally translate 1) a legal document in Simplified Chinese, and 2) a finance document in Traditional Chinese, on the spot.
