Interviewed Jun 2010 (took a day)
Very much an IT based company. If you are coming from the Unified Communications/Telecommunications/Training and Adoption areas, this would probably be a great fit. The best part is that they meet with the same decision makers that I am currently meeting with currently. I have not received an offer as of yet, but I have been called back for the 2nd interview.
Some questions:
Tell me what you know about Global Knowledge.
Walk me through a sale that you worked really hard for, and tell me what you did from start to finish.
Do you get commissions monthly?
What is your quota? Do you have a monthly quota? Is it reoccurring revenue based? Do you get paid differently on expansion verses a new company win?
Why do you think you have been successful?
I closed the interview with these questions....
After hearing about my experience and background, and you understand the role of TAE, what do you think my biggest obstacle would be?
Her answer: Getting the people on the phone....they are hard to get ahold of, but once you get a meeting, you typically do not have trouble meeting with them again.
After speaking with me, do you think I will be a good fit, and will you schedule the second interview with me?
Her answer: Yes, I do want to refer you. I think you are a great candidate, and we plan to start a new training class in a few weeks, and we would want to make you an offer before then, so I will schedule your second interview now, while I have you on the phone.
