Interviewed Oct 2011 in Tempe, AZ (took 2 weeks)
Group interview with Thurstone Mental Awareness test (which wasn't that hard, but some people managed to fail), then I was offered, as were a few others, the option to interview the same day instead of coming back a week or so later, so I took them up on that. A few days later, I was getting a few phone calls working out shift times, accepting the offer, taking a drug test, getting my background check completed, and presto... now I'm in!

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Gilbert, AZ (took 2 days)
Everyone here is drinking the coolaid, which isn't a bad thing if you want to dive into too. This company isn't popular and successful for no reason! It took more than a month after applying for me to be invited to the group interview. The group interview was mostly HR talking to you and then you take a 10 mc question customer service test and technical test. After that you take the thurston which basically tests how fast you process knowledge, it is a lot of questions in a short time frame, so go fast! They grade the tests their and let you know if you make it to the 1:1 interview. That interview went well, laid back funny HR lady made a technical interview seem like fun. She asks the basic interview questions plus more technical questions. I knew in about 8 days that I made it to the training process. But the training didn't start for 2 more months, which I thought was a really big draw back.

Interviewed Apr 2011 (took 3 months)
Multiple interviews with several people taking over 3 months to complete. I felt it went very well with most interviewers but it obviously did not go well with some because in the end I was told by email that I was not going to be given an offer. I wish that I had gotten more information about why that decision was made but did not have my phone calls returned.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 2 days)
You attend an informational session where they describe benefits and give you 3 tests. There's a godaddy culture test (what do you think of their ads etc), a 10 question IT skills test (what's a cookie, what does an ssl certificate do, name a blog creation software (like wordpress), name an ISP), and a 126 question intelligence test that you have 22 minutes to complete and must answer at least 65 correct. If you score >65 you get offered an interview.
The interview was mostly about IT technical questions. Name 2 ISPs, what makes a strong password, what is an FTP, what services does godaddy offer, what is an IP address, what is the most useful sales concept/technic for this type of job.
If you are offered a job you do a 2 week training course before you answer calls.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Gilbert, AZ (took a day)
They had me take a pretty dumb IQ/intelligence test with a large number of questions and limited time. Then I was given a simple problem to solve. When I solved the problem in about 30 seconds the interviewer falsely accused me of already being acquainted it.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Gilbert, AZ (took 2 weeks)
I applied online and had a call back within a week for a phone interview, they asked some basic technical questions and some "what would you do in this situation" type questions. A week later I was called into a face-to-face interview with some of the lead technicians where they gave me an IQ test and a written technical exam (not too difficult). All the people that I had contact with at GoDaddy were very professional and easy to talk to, all in all a good experience.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Scottsdale, AZ (took 3 days)
Group interview process involving team lead, another developer and development manager. Asked questions about my development skills in general, past projects, and why I wanted to join the team. I know from past experience that certain developers have a penchant for asking difficult 'riddle' style questions, but I didn't get asked any of these type of questions during my interview.

Negotiation Details
Almost nothing - it was an internal position doing the same thing for a different group. When applying for the same job, it seems like nothing is up for negotiation -- only the position itself.

Interviewed May 2011 in Cedar Rapids, IA (took 2 days)
I applied online and then was emailed to come in for an orientation. At the orientation they talk about all the benefits of the company and then you have to take 2 quizzes and then a mental awareness test. The fisrt quiz was easy and just asked commons sense questions. The 2nd quiz was some technical questions. These are questions like what is an example of a blog and then there are 4 answers to choose from. The the hard part is the test and there were 120 questions and it is timed and u only have 10 secs a question. You have to pass by a certain amount to get an interview. Then once you pass you get an interview. At the interview I was asked mostly technical and sales questions.
