Interviewed Jan 2010 (took 1 week)
The pay for this position is not worth the work. The person who interviewed me talked about other people who use to work there. Another reason why I turned down the offer. Really this position seems that it should be for a High School student, not someone who wants to develop and grow in a company.... basically this would be the last job title you would have unless someone quits at the management position. Anyways the interview was really easy it consisted of questions like tell me about your self, why are you the perfect person for this job, and why do you want to work for them.

Interviewed May 2009 (took 5 days)
The manager had put a great deal of emphasis on customer service. She will begin with basic questions like 3 strengths/weaknesses. She will then ask you about a time you delivered great customer service or what customer service means to you, and what you can bring to her team that no one else can. Scenario's might also be used like "If everyone was having a bad day, what would you do?".

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took 2 days)
Recruiter was far more interested in talking, then in finding out candidate information. And she was reluctant to discuss the district manager(your direct supervisor). It was a strange experience, and if this is how Godiva normally hires their management staff, I understand why they struggle with inconsistency and high turnover.

Reason for Declining

Interviewed Jan 2009 in Wyomissing, PA (took 2 weeks)
Manager and Hiring Manager interviewed. This was a new position required by the company due to splitting from Campbells. They had minimal understanding of the processes handled by corp real estate office.
After positive face to face feedback, the silence was deafening. The HR manager had been very friendly calling me to keep me updated during teh initial weeks but now I ahd to send a couple of emails to get a response. I got a very impersonal email saying that they ahd decided to go with another candidate and don't let the door hit you on the way out, yada, yada, yada. That same day I saw the job posted back on the website, but now listed as "entry level."
