Basic test, Group discussion and one round of face to face interview which was one on one. general questions and interests were asked. why i wanted to join Godrej etc were asked. and difference between petrol and diesel engine etc were asked. other basic mechanical engineering questions were asked. our divisinal preference (whether sales, marketing, design, production etc) were asked but not considered at the time of placing us into the job.

Campus interview is done through initial CV screening
followed by group discussions
candidates shortlisted after the group discussion are invited for personal interview
Personal interview is taken by HR and the domain manager.
Interview questions are not too tough, the employer basically judges how well you fit in its culture.
Negotiation Details
Heavy emphasis is laid on maintaining parity as far as remuneration is concerned.
For an engineering company, godrej is a very good paymaster
