I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Gold's Gym.

    Interview Details

I was already working there and was recommended for the "promotion". I was required to meet with the Corporate Front Desk Manager and the General Manager for the location I was moving to. The Front desk manager asked about previous management experience. The GM asked what my 5 year plan was and said that he wanted someone who would not be leaving anytime soon. I informed them of my school plans as well as my family requirements. The requirements and compensation I was informed of were misleading.

Phone interview, face to face interview and aptitude online test. Asked challenging questions and took a lot of notes on my responses. Really made me think but at times let me of the hook without answering the questions if I struggled to find any answer.

I applied online. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Gold's Gym.

    Interview Details

I applied online and was invited to interview within 24 hours. The next day I came in and had an interview with the Customer Service Manager. It was less than half an hour, maybe 20 minutes, and mostly out of a standard packet with some abstract and some straightforward questions (about experience, etc). The manager asked me how I would deal with difficult customers -- I should have realized right then that management had an antagonistic, suspicious attitude toward the gym members. The manager introduced me to the General Manager, who literally said nothing and walked away. I got a call two hours later with a job offer.

    Interview Questions
    • In the packet was a graphic collage made up of the gym's logo and some other icons -- hearts, for example, and some words. The question was "What does this mean to you?"   View Answer

It took forever to get in touch with the hiring manager in order to just get an interview. First interview was very high level and generic with the supervisor. Second interview was with GM and he just wanted to meet me basically.

Good facilitation of group interview called back for second interview same day. Current staff was full of energy, welcoming, and professional. My first interview was with a group of 5 other people but ample time was given to each individual to answer all question. interviewers will ask you to give a brief introduction of your self and current experience before starting the interviewing process.

I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at Gold's Gym.

    Interview Details

I applied online and was contacted 4 days later to set up an interview for the next day. The interview was an easy-average interview. Asked about prior experience with kids, what age groups I am used to caring for, what type of activities do I do with the kids, why I applied for this job/why I want to work here, and how open my schedule is.They made me feel very comfortable and all the employees were very friendly! I got a call back a few days later offering me the job! It is a very easy process, so don't be nervous! Just be yourself!
