No Offer – Interviewed in London, England (UK) Nov 2008 – Reviewed Aug 2, 2009
Interview Details –
Since I was living overseas, I was interview by phone first by somebody from the HR department. Very general questions: why this job, why this company, why do you want to switch jobs, why would you consider moving countries, etc. Also, some questions regarding studies and current work experience.
Once that was completed, they got me a ticket for London for a job interview. Group presentation first followed by one2one interviews with different people in the analysts floor. Behavioural questions (you are late for a meeting and your client needs the data, what would you do?) as well as questions about current job (explain main tasks and achievements) and position at Goldman Sachs. I had about 5 one to ones interview that morning. Then lunch with two people from the analyst floor so that we could be in a more relaxed environment and ask questions.
Overall, pretty long process. No numeracy or logic test, though. Other people who were interviewed that day for the same job said they had to complete tests in the previous round of interviews.
