Interviewed Nov 2011 in Danbury, CT (took a day)
The interview was very one sided and did not use any standard job questions. Thus I had to ask many clarifying questions to understand what they were getting at. Other than management I found the employees to be very welcoming. They did not seem open to change and innovation.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Bloomington, MN (took a day)
I was invited to attend a field day with the company through a recruiter via e-mail. Nothing was mentioned about interviews. When showing up, they talked about their products, offered lunch, and toured us around the building. Afterwards, 3 sets of 2 employees interviewed me about my resume and asked basic questions (personality test).
About 2 months later, the recruiter said they had filled the position. Awkward interview session, and no technical section.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2 weeks)
i met with 7 people for a half hour each, it was a bit repetitive (everyone wants to go over your resume) and had about 5 mins of 'real' conversation with each interviewer. i would have preferred a mix of one-on one and panel interview.

Interviewed Jan 2009 (took a day)
Got the interview through an industry referral. Two interviews that day with gentlemen from different departments. First interviewer sketched out the broad strokes of the position's responsibilities and project period. Second interviewer was serious about his work in the production facility and stuck to the standard behavioral and background questions.

Interviewed Apr 2011 (took 4 weeks)
The recruiter found my resume on a job board. The person did a brief screen and then promised to set up a phone interview with one of the hiring managers. There were several stakeholders in this process.
One of the main hiring managers called me a few days later and spent about 30 minutes asking detailed questions about my qualifications and how I handled difficult people/situations. While there was nothing unusual asked, I wasn't given an opportunity to ask the hiring manager any questions at the end of the interview. The interviewer simply ended the phone call.
A few days later the recruiter called me again to let me know that I had been shortlisted and three more 30 minute phone interviews with "interested parties" would be set up. Two of the interviews primarily focused on my qualifications, while the third interview was geared towards how I might fit in the corporate culture.
I passed this step of the process and was invited in to meet with the two main decision makers. I thought the face-to-face interview went well enough, but I got a weird vibe at the end of the discussion and felt like I had been given the bum's rush. Sure enough, I received a "we enjoyed meeting you, but we're going with another candidate" email about a week later. I got the impression that this decision was based on personality fit, not on whether I could do the job.
That said, everyone I met with was very nice and professional. Office space was basic. Business casual dress seemed to be the norm.
Here is some advice:
1. Be prepared for a long process.
2. Be prepared for the decision to be made by committee.
3. Know your qualifications.
4. Research the company.
5. Send a follow up thank you email.

Very pleasant interview, they were aware what were looking for and my profile was a perfect match. It was an open discussion with HR, future manager and the person i was replacing due to a career change in company. There have been 2 phone interviews prior to a in-person interview.
