Initially contacted by HR for a pre-screening, going over very basic skill sets and salary requirements. I was contacted again by phone and a panel phone interview was set up for seven days from the date of request. I interviewed with 3 people (all managers) was supposed to be 4. The interview was scheduled for 30 minutes and was a "real" screening of skills. About 15 minutes into the 30 minute interview, I was asked if I would come in for face to face. The phone interview consisted of questions regarding my experience levels with purchasing, planning, supplier relations and negotiations. The questions asked me played to my strengths so it went very well. The panel interview was much tougher. There were 4 (supposed to be 5) interviewers. The questions were much more direct and you needed to have specific answers to real experiences you have had. The questions were the " give a specific example of when..." The ones that come to mind were: Lifting morale, step by step process for bid package, beating a deadline, creating a process etc. There were several questions on Lean manufacturing and Kaizan events.

Contacted via a recruiter. Applied. Intitial was a phone interview with HR. After that was brought on site. Interviewed with the 3 top perople from the business. All interviews were one on one, but the usual style for most candidates is group interviews for 1.5-2 hours. Looking more for fit with company then technical knowledge. Goodrich is very goal and performance oriented, but also cares about how you achieved the results. Favors strong leadership in a team environment

Initially 3 phone interviews with 3 different managers at different locations, including corporate,and then the face to face with a panel of various department employees. There was an interpreter for the Shipping person and that was difficult to handle. I had a tendency to look at the interperter instead of the person asking the question. My initial opinion is that I do not like panel interviews.

My interview was for a contract position in the verification area. It was real straight forward. I was asked basic questions about my background and then was asked about DO-178B verification type questions. An example is "What is the difference between a Normal test case and Robust test case?"

Initial screening was through telephone. Very focused interviewer, who flew down from USA, with a set of question. They kept on taking notes during the interview. 2 rounds of technical followed by personality test and then 2 more rounds of HR interview. Offer, which came after 1 month, was a bit below the expectation. Had another set of discussion and finially agreed with the figures.

I went through a couple screening interviews before being invited to fly up to the location for an on-site interview. The panel interview followed a fairly structured process which you see standard for larger companies. The questions followed the "name a time/situation where..." form and lasted about an hour. Basically a typical structured behavioral interview.
