My staffing agency had informed me of this position in where they needed someone who'd speak both English and Spanish with knowledge of the payroll process. It looked like too good to be true for me when my agent informed me that they offer superb benefits, including vacation trips for all staff.

I was excited about the interview since it was the perfect job position and great salary at around 40K, unfortunately everything went down as soon as I met with one of the owners, she looked very disinterested in what I had to offer and her questions felt like she was just obligated to interview me. I had never felt so rejected in my life and she was really struggling to hide it.

After the interview was done, my agent called me an informed me of the obvious response. The owner had told my agent that they were looking for someone with more experience in payroll, and that was pretty hilarious because I had the experience they were looking for. A more honest response would have been racially inappropriate.
