Interviewed Oct 2009 (took 3 months)
first interview was a 1:1 at my schools career center after applying online through my school. I was contacted about a week later to set up a inhouse interview about 3 weeks later. This was a 4 hour interview, with 3 different people but they bought us lunch. they said they would let use know by the end of the next week, however it took almost 3-4 weeks to get back to me via email saying I did not get the job. Very frustrating that it took so long.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Atlanta, GA (took 2 weeks)
I first had a phone interview followed by an on-site interview with multiple members of the audit group as well as senior management. I had a total of four people I met with. We also went with a group to lunch to discuss culture and see how I fit in with the team. An offer was given via the phone and then sent in a package by mail.

The recruiter was so not polite. I missed his call, he didnot leave a voicemail. When I tried to return his call, he never called me back. I wrote an email He never responded. It is just not nice to call me and never get back.

Interviewed Oct 2008 in McLean, VA (took 5+ weeks)
The on campus interview was a very standard interview which asked behavioral questions. Within a week, I received an invitation to attend an in office interview. The in office interview consisted of a pre-interview dinner, interviews with a partner and a manager, and presentations on benefits, company information, and an office tour. Within a week after that, I received my internship offer and had about 2 weeks to respond, which I was able to extend to about a month.
In general, employees were very welcoming and relaxed. The offices were very nice and in a prime location. Work culture was very relaxed, as well. In general, as long as people get their work done, it seems that the company is flexible.

Interviewed Sep 2009 (took a day)
Meet and greet held the night before for candidates at local restaurant. On-campus interview the following day. Interviewers seemed disinterested about even being there. Even made inappropriate comments at the meet and greet the night before. Gave positive feedback throughout the interview, but then never called.

Interviewed Oct 2009 (took 2+ weeks)
The hiring process was a bit long and arduous. The recruiter was at first enthusiastic about my candidacy but as I moved through the process because short with replying and some times took over 48 hours to get back to me. I ended up not taking the offer because the clients I was looking to work with, did not renew the option years on the contracts and I did not want to be stuck in a so-so environment while new work was being won.

Interviewed Jun 2009 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
The recruiter was difficult to get ahold of, even for my in-house referrer. Upon finally setting up a call, however, he was polite and informative. I did not recieve an offer but I'm unsure as to whether the company was really certain what it was that they were looking for in a candidate.

Interviewed Jul 2009 (took a day)
Interviewed with 3 different senior employees and lastly, the recruiter. The actual time they spent asking me questions was about 20% and the rest is them asking you if you have any questions, so preparing to ask questions is key. The more I spoke with each of the interviewers, the more I liked the company. They asked team questions (teams that worked well & why, teams with conflict & strategies to overcome the conflict). Really, the direction of the interview is up to the interviewee. My impression is that they expected you to be prepared to present yourself, your skills and experience even without prompting from them. Just because they don't ask, doesn't mean you don't say want you want them to know.
