Interviewed Feb 2012 (took 2 weeks)
I had an initial phone screen with a talent acquisition employee. Very standard questions about my background and interests. I heard back within about a week to schedule in person interviews. I met with 2 groups of 2 people, who asked pretty standard behavioral interview questions related to my experience and background. I was told that I would hear back on next steps, but never did. I followed up with the talent acquistion department and never got a response.
I noticed that this seems to be a pattern with this company and, unfortunately, it's common with many organizations these days. I think that when you make contact with a candidate and particularly if you bring them in for face-to-face interviews, it's common courtesy to let them know they won't continue in the process. It's frustrating to try to get closure and get no response.

Interviewed Jan 2012 (took a day)
Sent a resume and within less than a week, the HR rep contacted me to schedule a phone interview. The interview consisted of the following: position details, organization details and she asked if I had questions.
She advised me of next steps, but there was no further contact from me or her. I was not impressed after she told me how lean the organization was and that there was much work to be done by one person. She also advised me that they were working on creating a balanced work environment. But, at the time there was no work life balance in the organization. That was a huge factor for me.

Interviewed Jul 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
The interview process at GPC was extensive. I had 3 phone calls from people, then invited to interview in person, meeting #1 with 2 people, interview #2 meet with 4 more people. I didn't get the job but they never told me that! Why can't HR say No Thanks? I know they are overwhelmed these days but it would be nice to have a responce! My experience at GPC is unique only by the number interactions, but I have found many employers prefer to ignore the applicates, no responce to email, phone inquiries. I would love to get feedback on some of the meetings I thought went well, even if they don't choose me. I think my time and interest in the company would warrent an email.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Atlanta, GA (took 3 weeks)
Oddly, the Director of HR was the first person to contact me, which is a waste of time given the types of questions she asked. "How would your previous boss rate your performance on a 1-10 scale" and then all kinds of nitpicky competency questions. They were the worst questions of any company I ever interviewed with. They will find someone who can lie well and tell stories, not someone who has good job skills.

Interviewed Jul 2009 in Atlanta, GA (took 2 days)
I was called in for a 1:1 interview on a Friday. The interview lasted only 15 minutes, the interviewer basically asked me to walk him through my resume/experience.
On the same evening I got a call for a second round, scheduled on the Monday. This is a panel interview with a VP of Operations, SVP of Finance and SVP of Supply Chain. The interview went really well, they were very polite and structured in what they wanted to ask.

Reason for Declining
I had another offer which had greater chance of converting into a full time position, plus the hourly pay was very less.
Other Details
I got the interview through a College or University and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview and a Group/Panel Interview.
