Interviewed May 2012 in London, ON (Canada) (took 2 weeks)
I applied with a cover letter & resume through a work placement agency.
Next, there was a very basic phone screening interview - mostly informational, but questions about their three most important criteria (reiterated in their HR interview & supervisor interview): attention to detail (primary), ability for a lot of feedback (at least daily) & ability to learn.
Typing speed test scheduled.
Interview with HR: behavioural-based questions, about 1hour - one on one with an HR manager. A little intimidating, but doable with preparation.
Interview with supervisors (two): mostly informational about the training process (3.5weeks), salary/bonuses/benefits. A couple of behavioural questions which I honestly can't remember.

Interviewed Jun 2008 in Winnipeg, MB (Canada) (took a day)
A phone test for screening questions, then A first face to face interview with 1 person, followed by a skill typing test and critical thinking test where you had to write in free form. This I believe was to test your grammatical profieciency.
If you pass the first round, you are called for a second interview which is department specific with at least 2 people in the panel. Usually 45 mins per interview (except the phone)

Negotiation Details
Salary wise, there isnt much negotiation to start off with, except you where hired internally. However there is lots of room to bump up your salary once hired and off probation.

Interviewed Aug 2009 (took 2 weeks)
I felt I was over-qualified for the position and that the interview went well but was not granted a 2nd interview. I phoned a week after the initial interview to enquire as to the status and was told they hadn't made up their minds yet but the next day received an email that I was not selected.
