Interviewed Mar 2009 in Atlanta, GA (took 3 months)
My first interview was about an hour on the phone. Manager wasn't very clear asking questions. I was totally confused about everything we talked about.
My second interview was at the office with the Manager and the Accountant. Again, discussions and questions were not very clear as far as the job description and what would be expected of me. I was very nervious.
When I arrived early, I didn't go up the elevators until 3 minutes before my interview. But, I had to wait about 15 minutes before the manager greeted me and showed me the way to the conference room. He wasnt' very friendly; a little shy. He didn't offer me anything to drink at all.
Then, I met with the DVP of the company and finally, this was a very pleasant interview. He was calm and made me feel very comfortable. His questions and comments were very structured and communicated very well.
After the interview, I was told I would hear back within a few weeks. It was a few months before I was offerred the job.
Negotiation Details
Somewhat negotiable. I didn't get what I was asking for but it was more than I previously made. My advice is to be stern and ask for what you think you're worth; otherwise, you may be offerred a lot less.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview and a Background Check.
