Interviewed Oct 2011 in New York, NY (took 2 days)
The hiring process was great and straight forward. I submitted my work via email. was instantly contacted and scheduled for an immediate interview. After the interview I was taken on a tour of the facilities and was then later oriented with all the staff. The people are very welcoming and polite. The work load is average and self motivation is a must in this agency.

Interviewed Jan 2009 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
I was called by an assistant to set up a meeting. I initially met with him first and then I was interviewed by 2 account executives. The interviews were the standard style. Questions about your previous jobs, what can you bring to the company. My advice be prepared and know about the company

Interviewed May 2010 in New York, NY (took a day)
It went incredibly fast - they asked me to start right away as a freelancer. The ECD seemed to not pay a bit of attention to me, and just kept saying "yeah, uh huh, yeah" to everything. It was an incredibly weird process and thankfully I was only there as a freelancer.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
They were incredibly pushy and tried to anchor things at a ridiculously low rate, around 1/3 of what I have been paid by other comparable companies. The ECD played a good cop/bad cop game with the creative recruiter, in a very "I don't know anything about the money side of things" way and the recruiter played the "I don't know what exactly they want you to do here so I can't approve higher pay" game.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in New York, NY (took 3 weeks)
Submitted resume through current employee. Got called from HR and met with HR rep. Also met with one of the hiring managers. Came back a couple other times to meet with 2 other hiring managers, as well as a hiring manager for a different account. Within 3 weeks, got the call to check for references and received an offer.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
Wasn't really able to negotiate. Was told by HR rep what the salary cap would be, so there was no room to negotiate.
Don't sell yourself short - go after exactly what you want and make it clear upfront.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
Submitted an application for an on-campus interview, was notified in 2 days that I was among approx. 12 students selected. The interviewer was very personable and pleasant, asked interesting but not too challenging questions, and was very honest about the fact that because of the industry, Grey hires on an as-needed basis, so students interested in the position would have to check back closer to graduation.

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took a day)
A friend connected me with the VP of Finance, I emailed her my resume and she got back to me the next day to set up an interview. At the interview, I met with her and we had a very nice conversation. Then I was sent to talk to HR and it was more formal.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
Applied to an analyst position posted on linkedin.com and was contacted the following day by HR to come in for an interview. I had a pleasant, encouraging conversation with the HR manager. She contacted me shortly after our meeting to schedule an interview with the hiring manager for the following week. I arrived for my interview feeling optimistic...
The hiring manager was late and looked to be in an incredibly sour mood. He didn't have the decency to reserve a conference room for our interview. Within a minute or two of sitting down, it was clear he hadn't reviewed my resume prior to meeting me. I felt like an idiot talking about myself while he scrutinized my resume instead of listening to me. He was obnoxious enough to tell me I had no experience for the job. I spent a total of 10 minutes talking to him before he ended the interview.
