Real Estate at Greystar

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Denver, CO Aug 2008 – Reviewed Jun 13, 2012

Interview Details – It was generally a good process. Better follow up would have been nice.

Interview Question – They asked me something about how a previous job had set me up for this position and I didn't have any experience prior so it was difficult for me to come up with something logical to say.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – I was able to negotiate a little bit, but it was an entry level position and they generally had a set range for the position so there wasn't much room for movement. The amount I received was what I expected though.

Leasing Consultant at Greystar

No Offer – Interviewed in Dallas, TX Apr 2011 – Reviewed Jun 17, 2011

Interview Details – I found this employment posting on career builder. I submitted a resume and was contacted a week later. I arrived on time for my interview but sat waiting for 30 minutes. Once the interview began I was asked about my experience and future career goals. We spoke for about 1 hour and then toured the property. The entire visit took approximately 2 hours. Prior to leaving she (the property manager) told me that she wanted me to meet her regional, but never got a call back. The office was upbeat and cheerful. The staff all seemed to enjoy each others company. It seemed like an enjoyable place to work.

Property Manager at Greystar

No Offer – Interviewed in Jun 2012 – Reviewed Jul 6, 2012

Interview Details – I applied with Greystar online initially and took all of the tests online. Then I was notified that they had a career fair several days later in my area. I attended the career fair at a hotel conference room. There were two people performing the interviews in an open room.

It was not the most organized career fair since there were two people conducting interviews and there were 15 people waiting when I arrived. They were interviewing for all positions at that time.
