Art Director Interview

Art Director
Loveland, CO

I applied online and the process took 4 weeks - interviewed at Group Publishing in April 2012.

Interview Details – First was a series of phone interviews: first with a recruiter and then the hiring manager. Next came a skills test which took approx. 3 days to complete. Then they flew to Colorado for an in-person interview with the recruiter, the hiring manager, their boss, and then the VP of creative.

Interview Question – No unexpected questions. All pretty standard, nothing exceedingly hard.   Answer Question

Reason for Declining – The offer was too low for what I was asking. And they were not willing or able to come up any on the offer.

Interview Details – They ask for a lot of specifics and details about your actual experience and past sales successes to make sure you know how to sell

Interview Question – The questions aren't difficult, but what can be difficult is trying to remember specifics of when you had a situation like they asked about. They are very good to give you the time you need to think about a specific time. Very professional process and people   Answer Question
