Support Engineer - Hardware Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through an employee referral and interviewed at Gulf Business Machines.
Interview Details – Had a friend refer me to the hiring manager. Interviewed within 2 weeks. Interview was onsite since I was in Dubai at the time. Asked about computer systems, server basics, troubleshooting storage and SAN issues,
Interview Question – Why would a storage system be really slow but present no hardware eror? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – You would need to work overtime but they compensate you well for it.
Networking Specialist Interview (Positive Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied online and the process took 3 months - interviewed at Gulf Business Machines in March 2011.
Interview Details – Initial assessment depends on the position you are applying for. For a technical position, 3 or 4 interviews are normal before you get a job offer.
1st Interview: general assessment of skills
2nd interview: deep technical interview
3rd interview: Interview with hiring manager

Interview Details – was interviewed by the Sales Manager, General Manager for Sales /Account Management Skills,Doman knowledge in I.T. for selling to the Banking Vertical

Interview Question – to expect the unexpected from customers in terms of deliverables / commitments in a very very price sensitive marketplace which has lack of skills but is very demanding Answer Question
