Account Executive Interview (Negative Experience; Easy Interview)
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Gulf South Medical Supply in May 2010.
Interview Details – The "culture of the company" was mentioned in the first sentence of every interview. "work/life balance" is constantly mentioned, however it is not explained that the more you work, the more the sales VP get to have a life. A great sense of urgency was placed on me talking to someone every step of the way, however the urgency stopped when I had a question of the HR dept. The HR group presents candidates and feeds the propoganda machine without a conscience.

Negotiation Details – Negotiation was - "here is the offer - take it or leave it" There was no room for negotiation, and I was told "there are a lot of qualified candidates, if you didn't want this job why did you apply for it?" That should have been the second sign... I ran from one company to a company with unfortunate expectations
