Interviewed Jan 2012 (took a day)
This company was very aggressive about getting in touch to interview me (I submitted my application on Friday and was asked to have a phone interview Monday). The whole process seemed very quick, but I guess maybe that is what you expect with a startup. After the phone interview they brought me in for a 1-1 interview. The interview went well, but the office was a bit crazy, as they were still renovating. In the end they decided that I was overly qualified for the position but claimed that they would keep in touch once the business solidified if something better suited opened up.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took a day)
I applied for the SEED program online, and met with the talent director at a coffee shop the next day. . Nothing in particular was really discussed, and none of my experience or accomplishments were asked. It was probably one of the most informal, unprofessional interviews that I have ever had. I have a feeling she really is not doing a very thorough job and although I would have been interested in learning more about the job and the company, her strange aloofness and lack of excitement was really off-putting. I understand its a new start-up and they have a casual approach to recruiting, but they may really want to think about how they are initially representing the company because they may lose strong candidates due to the strange behavior and actions of the "so-called" talent director who to be frank seemed very unenthusiastic about her job and company.

Received and Accepted Offer

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Washington, DC (took 2 days)
I was referred by a friend to the opening, and I e-mailed my interest. I met with the CEO one on one, we spoke at length about the position, the direction of the company, the business model, etc. I then went to the main office and interviewed with the market manager, a top salesperson, and the COO. I received an offer that evening and accepted on the spot.
For potential candidates, I would say come into the interview with enthusiasm. This is a startup, so the company needs energetic, ambitious people who are not only excited about the potential here, but are also willing to jump in and help out where needed. The office culture is very friendly, smart, even "hip".
