The interview was very easy.There were Three rounds of interview.The Technical Knowledge of Interviwers were pathetic.They didn't know even 50 % of what I knew.So It was a cake walk for me.Infact after working in HCL for last one year I understand that interview process is of poor quality

This is where HCL cheat .They agreed to every thing I asked.They said That I will be in consulting and Technology service.But after joining in HCL they didn't do anything they promised.It is a very Unethical company

They took 2 rounds of interview. Both technical. Overall average difficulty level.

first round....apptitude round.....consist of 4 sections.......verbal....apptitude....technical and reasoning.....and each section carries 15 marks and total of 60 marks.....online test.........its quite easier to clear the first round. And then...technical cum personal HR round......

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 2+ weeks)
I got a call from HCL HR saying that my Resume is short listed and I need to come to HCL office for Interview, and as I remember I had not applied in near past of my interview date. But I assumed that I applied some one or two year back and they called me at that time also but I left the option to join in. This means they keep a data base of resume.
I reached office for interview on the said date and after some waiting time one technical guy took me into cabin and gave some 5-6 C and Data structure program to write and then he disappeared from there and came back in half hour by that time I had completed all the programmes. Out of 6, 5 were write and one has some bad results. Then I called by a senior manager and he took me some 1 hour technical and sort of personal interview after that some salary negotiation with HR and I am done.

Attended on 26th Nov. Opening was for PL/SQL developer with an exposure on UNIX Shell scripting.
1> Technical round 1 : Was a general tech round, was asked to write down so many syntax.
2> Technical round 2 : Scenario based questions.
3> HR round : Just salary negotiation.
