It was walk-in and on day one I went through two rounds of technical interview and on day 2 it was HR interview and backgorund verification. First technical interview was around basics of core java and 2nd round was arounf JSP & servlets. All rounds were 1:1.

The interview process was not that bad, as 3 round were there, first was 1 on 1 technical round, second was the PM round and third was HR round. However I think there were lots of false projection of onsite role specifically that was projected to me. The HR team did not negotiate at all with me. They were offering lower then my existing CTC and finally just gave INR 1000 more. I consider it they took advantage of my situtaion.

It all started with HCL giving the presentation and then followed by a written test. The written test was for quant, verbal and technical ques. Time was enough that 1 can finish all the questions. Results were pretty much declared the same day after 2 hours. After that, I was interviewed for 30 min asking for technical ques.

HCL visit our campus for interview and we had 1:1 interview with senior managers and VP of the company.
Interview was behavioural round with some technical aspects of the industry. It lasted for 30 min and post another round of HR interview and salary negotiation they offered me an on the spot offer.
