Interviewed Apr 2012 in Springfield, MO (took a day)
Was basically shown the facility and asked a few questions about schooling and previous jobs....also was asked what I would do if I saw someone stealing. That was about it....was more like talking to an old friend than a job interview.

Interviewed Aug 2011 (took 1+ week)
HR Director conducted first interview. She had no idea what the requirements for the position were. She did not have a job description. She asked basic "what would you do?" questions. She checked her cell phone every few minutes during the interview. She texted and laughed out loud many times.

Interviewed Feb 2012 (took 1 week)
HR person was very professional and informative. Actual one-on-one interview process actually took a lot longer than I expected, with variety of personality testing questions. Their facility is clean and updated, unlike many long-term facilities. Pay scale, however, is very low with minimal differentials.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Sparks, NV (took 3 weeks)
Was treated rudely by first interviewer who basically acted like I was wasting her time, then HR called me and told me she had quit and asked me to return for 2nd interview, 2nd interviewer unavailable when I arrived for appointment so HR came to lobby with an offer letter. Very unprofessional and chaotic, should have been a clue to how bad it would be working there!
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
They can't get anyone to work there, so will hire you right away. No financial incentives, low pay, terrible inconsistent hours, annual raise after 15 months, no tuition reimbursement anymore, so if they verbally tell you otherwise-get it in writing or you will never see it!
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Drug Test.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Tulsa, OK (took a day)
Polite Regional Manager. However, we did not go into the interivew process because the first thing the Manager wanted to discuss was the pay and travel. I had no problem with the travel arrangements, but their pay is TERRIBLE! An experienced Manager of homecare who would oversee the four business offices and be a fill-in for other regions that were short handed. Of course, it took several minutes to get to the "round about" pay which was less than $45K. The job requirements want a person experienced, yet they don't want to pay. If you are just starting our in the business office area specific to homecare then this may be a good position to accept for a few years otherwise don't bother applying.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
No interview because HCR ManorCare is more about what they are going to pay people...basically below poverty level. I wonder how great the care is for the patients.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2 days)
I received a call in less than 24 hours after applying online and interviewed with administrator. Interview went well, but administrator said regional management was looking for someone who could cover 2 states, filling in for administrators. Stints as much as months at a time!

Interviewed Sep 2009 (took 1+ week)
Came in and filled out application but unable to talk to supervisor that day. Spoke on phone with superfson a couple of days later. Then received a call back for a personal interview. Went in for the interview which was conducted just with the supervisor. Later received a call with a job offer, which I accepted. Was asked to come in and fill out some more forms so that background checks could be done. I already had my RN licenses. I was then sent for drug testing. Later received a call that references were complete and all of information was good so that I could start.
