Interview Details – The interview was on the phone. I was sent an e-mail asking when I would be available . As i responded I noticed that there were 20 interview times I could have chosen from. Having conducted training interviews myself. I was alarmed by these large numbers since typical most companies only interview 5-10 people before narrowing it down to 3-5 candidates for in person interview. When I finally got on the phone with the representative It felt very rushed and she seemed very uninterested . I was asked basic questions like tell me about your self and strengths and weakness. When I asked about the work environment I wasn't given very much feedback. The interview seemed to be just for legal purposes.
Interview Question – There wasn't any unexpected question . they were all pretty general Answer Question

Interview Details – Got an email the day before the interview times from the regional manager asking for a reply I had an interest. I called got her voice mail and left message. Later, she called back and we scheduled a time for the next day. Went to the interview at the appropriate time. (Interviews were being conducted in the open lobby of the hotel with CNN blaring in the background. I walked in to the area where numerous people were sitting and wandered around. I then got a cup of coffee and walked back into the area and was approached by someone in a golf shirt and khakis who introduced himself by his first name as the local manager and said the regional manager was elsewhere and he would be doing the interview. The next 45 minutes consisted of a series of questions he read from a sheet. He spoke of the growth of the company and how he had done well there. He made random notes and later asked what questions i had. After a few minutes another candidate wandered in and he ended the session. I was told that the position would be filled by the end of the month and that a subsequent interview would be done. He did not offer a business card and I failed to ask for one so follow up was done in an email to the regional manager.. I received no response from either manager and as far as I know the position has been filled. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and attention to detail by representatives of a large organization

Interview Details –
I applied online and after about a week received a call to set up a phone screen. The same HR rep from corporate called back later and conducted the phone screen...."Why are you leaving current job?" "What relevant experience?" "How often is it ok to call in sick?" etc.
Then I received a call several days later for a face to face with the asst mgr. This consisted of him asking the same questions and filling in answers on a form as well as some basic question and answer.
He said the mgr would review and call people back in the next week.
Got a call the next week and set up interview for the following morning. Talked with the manager a little about background and experience went over my resume then took a tour of the warehouse and he explained the job. At this point the interview was more of an attempt to get me to loosen up a little I think and see how I would fit in. We talked a little and I was feeling nervous but asking questions and trying to picture how the job would work. Eventually he said that he had one more interview and that I would probably get a call the next day to finish up.
Haven't heard from them since then.

Interview Details – Was originally called regarding position applied for on Careerbuilder.com. Phone interview went fine and was told to come in for face to face interview with multiple people and that the interview process would take about 3 hours. Showed up for interview dressed professionally. Interviewers were dressed in jeans, but did make mention that it was casual day at their offices. Building was nice and seemed professional. Interviewed by 2 girls, names withheld, however I can say 1 was the pne I expected to meet with, the other was there as observer. Interview with them only lasted about 45 minutes. One thing that stuck out as a weird point was when I referred to the companies patrons as "clients" and I was told abruptly that they didn't have "clients" just "customers". Other than the fact that "clients" and "customers" is pretty much interchangeable, it sounds more formal. Since this position was in Marketing, the idea of thinking of "customers" as "clients" is a good framework to anticipating repeat business and building "customer" loyalty. Either way, though, why bother mentioning anything? Shortly after this, the lead interviewer awkwardly said that her and her observer were going to go talk out in the hall for a minute and then find the other manager I was to interview with. The observer came back a couple minutes later and said they couldn't find the manager and that they were just going to end the interview there. I never received an offer or rejection, but could feel that rejection was the decision. Whether I was over-qulaified, under-qualified, or just not a good match, a decision letter or even email would've been appropriate. I found the interviewer to be unprofessional because of this. Also, I am a volunteer firefighter and felt like that was another factor influencing the rejection. Way to support your local community girls. I was asked, "if a job paying $100K came along in firefighting, would I take it?". If a job came along where you got paid $100K to sit around eating cookies all day would you take that? Not a realistic question for a $35K a year job.
