I applied through a staffing agency and the process took 4 months - interviewed at HSBC GLT in June 2012.
Interview Details –
Hiring Process is Tiresome:
1. Telephonic Interview to gaze the relevant work exp.
2. Case Study was given, i was asked to do a credit rating assessment of a particular company of Europe and present it to the panel.
3. Group Interview - This interview was solely focused on the case study and other work exp that i had with my previous company.
4. 1:1 Interview with head of the business, he looked on my competence and whether i will be able to stick with the company or not.
Interview Question – Lots of questions on the case study and how I derived on credit ratings or a particular financial ratio based on the Balance Sheet View Answer
Reason for Declining – The work was a daily mundane work more of research based operational work, no scope of innovation and trying something different. i was more interested in model building.
