Interviewed Feb 2010 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 2+ weeks)
Online screening, telephone interview, assessment centre.
Procedures really standardised but a bit impersonal. Many competency questions (too many).
AC with standard numerical test, case study discussion, and several motivational interviews.
Questions about market awareness. Reasoning abilities and calculations.
Nice experienced people to talk to. But don't find a real HSBC identity.

I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Presentation and a Skills Test.
