I interviewed through college or university. The process took 2 days - interviewed at Halliburton.

Interview Details

I interview with Halliburton through my school's career center. They had a pre-interview meeting the day before where they gave an overview of the company and answered questions that people had. I did not go to the meeting. The interview started a little late, probably due to the number of people that were being interviewed that day. My interviewer was very relaxed and easy going. After a few minutes he was making some jokes and getting to know me in a very natural way. The interview questions started after that, mostly the typical ones that you would expect from any large company.

I was called the night after a career fair and asked if i wanted to do an interview the next morning. I was unavailable at the time that was given so the interviewer made a time slot so he could fit me in. The interview was a bit crunched for time, however we made it through all the questions. I felt that the questions were typical interview questions. The only thing that bothered me was that the whole thing felt rushed.

First round was easy, it was a on campus interview. mostly behavioral questions. I attended the information session the night before, which was a huge help. The guy I interviewed with was able to answer a lot of questions I had about the job. Overall, everything went very well and wasn't too difficult. Got selected for second interview

Very organized interviewing process. The whole process was all done in four weeks. The on-site interview was very laid back.

On campus interview, with a wire line field engineer. The interview was very simple, it was more to find out what kind of person you are and if you would be of any interest to them. The questions were in regard to leadership, past experience, and what you have learned.

First round, on-campus interview. I attended the information session the night before, which was a huge help. The interview was great, was pretty much just a handful of behavioral questions. The guy I interviewed with was able to answer a lot of questions I had about the job. Overall, everything went very well and wasn't too difficult.

The first interview was set up through my university's career services. A field engineer from a nearby location came and conducted the interview. He asked some easy human relations questions, as well as some obscure questions. At the end he asked if I could see myself being able to perform the job.

The initial interview is extremely basic and contains all behavioral type questions. I got the interview at the career fair at texas a&m. The interviewers are usually not even engineers so the conversation does not get too technical. 30 min or less if that. they are very nice tho
