Interviewed Dec 2011 in Charlotte, NC (took 3 weeks)
Went to speak with the Deli Manager after receiving an email that the store was hiring a P/T Decorator. Came back the next week to decorate two cakes. Was told they'd have to do a background check and drug test. OK.

Negotiation Details
Tried to pay me as a fresh food clerk instead of a decorator; was able to negotiate for a higher salary but still not in line with what a cake decorator is paid.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Presentation, a Personality Test, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

The interview was very exciting! I was taking into a very colorful room with a panel of three library managers. I was ask question of integrity {star interview}, personal exiperence and ability to work with others. I was asked questions I where unsure how to answer, but, I was allowed the opportunity to re-answer. All of my questions were responsed at "Great".
