I asked a friend to recommend myself to yahoo. The first interview was by phone. After that, there were 4 on-site interviews. I took about 1 hour for each interview. The questions were not so difficult, all were technical related.

VERY quick, clean, efficient, and professional, while personal at the same time. Response time from initial application was <2 days; phone interview the next day, then they paid for me to come down for panel interviews 3 days after that. People were (and are) very welcoming, warm, and knowledgeable; the culture is relaxed yet professional, with people really having the company's best interests at heart, and the company cares for the employees.
