Interviewed Oct 2010 in Winnipeg, MB (Canada) (took 1 week)
The first round of interviews was fairly informal. It was given by the department head and had a mix of HR related questions and technical questions. The second round of interviews was intended to be another 1:1 interview, but the regional manager was in the office at the time so it was a 2:1 interview. The questions were all pretty much the same questions that were asked during the first interview. Initially I was not selected for the position. However, the candidate that was selected left after a month and I was brought in for a third informal interview and given an offer.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Montreal, QC (Canada) (took a day)
I submitted my CV to Hatch through someone I knew who was employed by Hatch. I was called in for an interview not long after. The first part of my interview consisted of sitting with my department head and another person who had the same job title as the position I was applying for. The discipline head asked me if I had a portfolio, but did not seem to be bothered when I said I didn't. They basically looked at my CV and said that I seemed to have all the skills needed. There were no technical questions. The second part of the interview was with an HR representative who asked me human resource types of questions such as "have you ever been in a position where you had to take leadership of a project or task because your leader was no longer capable", or "what are your best/worst qualities", etc. The first part of the interview was conducted in English, the second part in French. We then discussed salary expectatons and vacation time. I left the interview with the impression that I had the job, 100%.
I didn't hear from Hatch for almost two months after my interview. After two weeks, I assumed that I would not be hearing from them again. Weeks later, I received an offer via email, which I accepted, with no negotations.
