Interviewed Jul 2008 in Chicago, IL (took 4 weeks)
I applied online for an out of state position and was fairly surprised to receive a call from the recruiter;
They scheduled 2 rounds of phone screens to be sure before I was flown in for a in person.
I felt the phone screens were tougher than in person as they were more detailed ; I met the hiring manager in person when I flew in along with his manager.

Interviewed Jan 2010 (took 2 weeks)
I was employed as a temp in Claims processing; the permanent position was opened and advertised on the HCSC website; I applied and was interviewed; offer accepted for the permanent position in that department. The COBRA processor position came open a month later; they waived the normal 9 month rule and we were allowed to apply for that position. I was offered the job and I accepted. The culture of Diversity that HCSC employs is amazing, and I have been blessed to move up as quickly as I have. A word to those in temp positions: DON'T GIVE UP! Your time may come. The benefits are AMAZING!

Interviewed Nov 2008 (took 2 weeks)
I applied online, and then was called for an interview. There were about 20 people who showed up at exactly the same time I did. Then we all had to go take tests on computers. One was a typing accuracy test, and the other was a kind of logic test. Then after they had our results, they called about 6 of us back for 2 on 1 interviews, and told everyone else that if you name wasn't called you could go home. Then about a week later, I got a call that the job started in 2 months if I wanted it, but I had to pass the background check and drug test (which is the one where they chop of chunk of your hair out).The background check was a real hassle for me because I have moved around and some of the places I used to work weren't open anymore. I ended up having to bring in old W2s to prove that I used to work there. I got a call about 2 weeks later offering me the job. When I showed up on my first day, I was the only one who was hired out of my entire interview group.

Interviewed Apr 2009 (took a day)
No technical questions are asked. For example, they didn't ask me any questions about SAS or SQL. The interview began at 4pm on a weekday. So it only lasted for 1 hour.
