Interviewed Nov 2010 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
The process consisted of a written test followed by group discussion and a one on one interview.
The written test consisted of basic quantitative and IQ questions.
During the GD topics were given for discussion. The positive part of the GD was that everybody was given an oppurtunity to speak ,..it was not a "high pitched chaotic discussion".
The interviewer asked a lot of puzzles...few personal questions about college, different subjects in your course etc

Interviewed Dec 2008 in Delhi (India) (took a day)
The first round consisted of a written test, which had 4 sections. The first section were on quantitative, data interpretation skills, english (sentence correction and word usage mainly) and Programming skills. The first three sections were quite easy while the third one had a whole page of text on reading which you had to answer the questions which mainly tested on how would be retreieve the relevant info from that text. It was easy but consumed a lot of time which was already short.
Then there were two rounds of interview, both of which tested mainly the communication skills and how descriptive you can be in your responses (each lasted 15-30 min). At each point you should have a reson to back that why are you opting for IT based services job and not the one of your core engineering discipline.
